Built on Craft. Driven by Standards.
Sterling and Blade was never meant to be just another barbershop. It was built to be a destination, a place where grooming is treated as art and every detail is deliberate.
A shop born from frustration
James Sterling spent a decade cutting hair in shops that treated grooming like fast food. Get them in, get them out, move on. In 2010, he opened Sterling and Blade with a different idea. What if a barbershop gave men the same quality of experience that women have expected from salons for years? Premium products. Unhurried service. An atmosphere worth lingering in.
Meet the founderLess production line. More personal craft.
We do not do conveyor belt haircuts. Every service starts with a conversation and ends with a result that is tailored to you. Your face shape, your hair texture, your life. Our barbers are trained to read proportion, understand style, and deliver consistency. The chair is where craft meets personality.
The Standards We Keep
Craft Over Speed
We would rather take an extra five minutes and get it perfect than rush through and get it close. Precision is the standard, not the exception.
Hygiene Without Compromise
Hospital grade sterilisation between every client. Fresh blades, clean capes, sanitised stations. Your safety is not a line item. It is a foundation.
Premium Products Only
We stock and use Reuzel, Uppercut Deluxe, and our own Sterling and Blade house line. If it is not premium, it does not touch your hair.
The Full Experience
Great music. Complimentary drinks. A space designed to make you feel good before the first clip. Grooming should be something you look forward to, not endure.
A great barber does not just cut hair. He reads faces, understands proportion, and builds confidence one cut at a time.James Sterling, Founder
Come See for Yourself
